RECORDS: Each week's performances are carefully monitored and compared with records that have been set at the Centre since its inception. Some records are of a very high standard and have been held for many years. Download current records (7kB pdf).

Key Assistants are reminded that any attempt at records have to be verified by the Officer for Track and Field or the Assistant to the Officer for Track and Field or, in the absence of both these Officials, a Committee Member. Attention should be paid to the Rules governing submission of Record applications.

Note that during normal Centre competition some exceptional male/female athletes have at times competed in an age group higher, or female athletes have competed against male athletes. However, it is pointed out that, although this competition is welcomed for these exceptional little athletes, no record or personal best (PB) can be claimed. The Centre's Records Officer must be informed of any such attempt, to ensure that the performance (or record) is not considered for a record or season best award.
