The State Relay Championships are a fun opportunity to compete as a team in a large stadium event.
State Relays will be held on different days depending on the age group. More information to come.
There are two relay events.
- The Little Athletics Relays are held on Sunday 10th November for ages 8s -12s (born 2013 – 2017)
- Junior Relays are held on Sunday 17th November for U13 +.
Teams of 3 or 4 participate in track or field events, either with their Age Group, or across Age Groups.
Track Events include: 4x100m; 4x200m; 4x400m and 4x800m
Field Events include: Team Jumps (Long Jump for U8-U10; LJ,HJ,TJ for 11+) or Team Throws (Disc & Shot for U8-U10 ; Disc, Shot & Jav for U11+)
Where: Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre, Edwin Flack Av (SOPAC)
